We are delighted to share the incredible news of our recent successful rescue mission on February 4th, 2025, where we provided refuge to 35 boys who were living on the streets of Nairobi. At Kwetu Home of Peace, we are deeply committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment where these young boys can not only find solace but also grow and thrive. Our unwavering belief is that every child deserves a life free from the dangers and hardships of street life. Through our comprehensive rehabilitation program, we aim not only to heal and support these boys but also to prioritize their access to education, love, and a stable shelter.
Our mission at Kwetu involves critical, life-changing steps. We initiate recruitment activities on the streets, rescuing children in urgent need, and then welcoming them to our rehabilitation home. Our holistic approach ensures that every rescued child has access to quality education. For older boys who have not had the opportunity to attend school, we offer pathways to vocational training, helping them gain valuable skills as they undergo rehabilitation. Upon graduation, we focus on reuniting these boys with their families, providing continuous support to facilitate a smooth and sustainable transition back home.
